The Association of Study Aids and Study Strategies Assessors aims to help Assessors fulfil their role in the following ways:
By providing an informal means of communication between assessors that encourages discussion, reflection on practice and sharing of knowledge
By providing a means of communication (feedback loop) between DSA Assessors and those providing downstream services and vice-versa
By providing advice and training to help members meet professional, legal and quality assurance standards relevant to their work
By working with government and other relevant organisations to improve access to higher education for disabled students.
Membership is free and open to anyone whose primary work role is related to DSA e.g. DSA Assessors, AT Trainers, Study Skills Practitioners and Diagnosticians
